July 1, 2006 Quiznos Subs will add more flavor to The Marketplace at Centerra when it opens this Friday, June 30.  The upscale sub shop joins a long list of retailers to open as part of McWhinney Enterprises’ 240,000 square foot Phase II expansion of The Marketplace at Centerra that began in 2005. 

“Quiznos is the eighth new shop to open this year as part of phase two at The Marketplace,” said Chad McWhinney, Principal and CEO McWhinney Enterprises. “With all of the new dining spots open, there is a little something for everyone.”

Starting as a single restaurant in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood in 1981, Quiznos has expanded to more than 4,400 locations worldwide, making it one of the fastest-growing restaurant chains.  Quiznos is a franchise owned by Tom and Renee Wise of The Wise Group, LLC, based in Loveland, Colorado.  The Wise Group is leasing 1,407 square feet of space from McWhinney for the sandwich shop, which offers a fresh alternative to traditional fast food by using quality ingredients, artisan breads, premium meats, and its own signature sauces.
