June 27, 2006  McWhinney and Park Regency LLC are proud to announce plans for a new luxury assisted-living apartment building at Centerra. The Park Regency will provide a home for Loveland area seniors who are completely independent as well as those in need of assistance, in addition to a variety of amenities and services for its residents. The facility will be located on Hahn’s Peak Drive and near the shopping and healthcare facilities already located at Centerra.  The Park Regency is expected to open by May 2007.

The three-story building will house 14 large two-bedroom apartments with two baths and 20 spacious one- bedroom apartments, all with sunrooms.  There will also be 70 studio apartments of various sizes. All apartments will have kitchenette facilities and come with state-of-the-art features. Over 30,000 square feet of common space will include a two-story interior garden, a main dining room, an informal café and a private dining room.  “We are excited to add a facility that offers so much for area seniors to Centerra,” comments Chad McWhinney, CEO, McWhinney Enterprises.  “The Park Regency brings an entirely new set services and amenities and will set the standard for senior living in Loveland.”

Residents will be able to spend their leisure time at a surround-sound theater, billiard room, activities room or library.  There will be a health club with rehabilitation therapies available.  Personal services will include on-site banking and a beauty salon.  Base lease rates include three meals a day plus snacks and regular housekeeping services.  The Park Regency will also offer transportation to physician appointments and shopping.  An extensive activities program will include regular outings and professional entertainers.  Assistance with medications and other health-care issues to allow for a continuum of care when extra care is needed will also be available.

Additional benefits, such as financial assistance for a limited number of nights in a hospital, rehabilitation center or nursing home, free local telephone and cable service, free personal-training sessions, use of the private dining room and much more will be available to residents who opt for silver or gold club memberships.   “The Park Regency has been designed using years of resident and family feedback and requests regarding assisted living,” comments Bootzin.  “Our goal was to use this feedback when planning The Park Regency to create a truly superior senior living experience.”
