The weekend of October 25-26 at The Marketplace at Centerra
has something for everyone with the second annual Halloween
Hullabaloo, a family-fun street festival on Saturday,
October 25, and the eighth annual Sportsman’s Warehouse
Waterfowl Weekend, a two-day event on October 25 and 26
featuring calling competitions for youth and adults.
Join your fellow costumed creatures at the Halloween Hullabaloo on Fall River Drive (from Panera Bread to Noodles) next Saturday, October 25, from noon to 4:30 p.m. for an afternoon of face painting, balloon artists, caricature drawings, inflatable jumps and slides, treats and more. The festival will feature a Pumpkin Patch to benefit Partners Mentoring Youth of Larimer County where families can vote for and purchase their favorite decorated pumpkin. In addition, families can enjoy a safety fair with the Loveland Fire and Police Departments and Larimer County Search & Rescue and a costume parade with candy stops at 3 p.m. followed by a costume contest at 3:30 p.m. The costume contest is open to all members of the family including children, adults, groups and family pets. Admission to the Halloween Hullabaloo is free. Also at The Marketplace is Sportsman’s Warehouse 2008 Waterfowl Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, October 25 and 26, with calling competitions for youth and adults, seminars and product demos, a raffle drawing for a Celebrity Hunt, and a special appearance by calling champion Fred Zink. Located at 1675 Rocky Mountain Avenue, Sportsman’s will have in-store specials and kids activities all weekend long including face painting, a coloring contest and building your own duck call for the first 40 youths age 12 and under. The calling competitions take place both days with the Youth Class Duck and Goose on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Adult competitions are scheduled on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. For more information on the calling competitions and weekend events, visit www.sportsmanswarehouse.com.
