July 25, 2006 McWhinney Enterprises is pleased to announce the opening of the Good Times/Taco John’s restaurant at The Marketplace at Centerra on Friday, July 28, 2006.  The opening adds another restaurant to the long list of new retailers at The Marketplace since McWhinney began its 240,000 square foot Phase II expansion of the power center in 2005.

“We are the first to have one of Good Times/Taco John’s new co-branded restaurants in Northern Colorado, which will provide consumers with more choices under one roof,” said Chad McWhinney, Principal and CEO McWhinney Enterprises.

Wyoming-based Taco John's and Colorado-based Good Times first announced their co-branded restaurants in March 2004.  The combination brings together two restaurants that offer high-quality, fresh, authentic, products within two very distinct segments of the quick-service restaurant category – burgers and frozen custard and Mexican food.  Under one roof, customers will be able to enjoy Taco John’s West-Mex® style food and one-of-a-kind recipes for fresh-made Mexican specialties like burritos, tacos and fajitas as well as Good Times made-to-order burgers with 100% all-natural Coleman-brand beef, chicken sandwiches and frozen custard.  The co-branded restaurant in Loveland is owned by Good Times Restaurant Inc., which is leasing 2,664 square feet from McWhinney for the store.
