Friday, October 20, 2006  Attention all Loveland and area golfers. Golfers, don't put your clubs away yet! There is one more chance to make that hole-in-one. Come on guys and gals get out that trusty iron and show those folks from the golf channel we have great golfers in this area. This is a fun challenge and a real  great way to raise money for a local charity which does such great work in the area.

The Ranch is hosting a 'Closest to the Pin' Contest on the east side of the Budweiser Events Center on Saturday, October 28 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. All money raised will go to the United Way. This event will take place before the Colorado Eagles hockey game against the New Mexico Scorpions.

The "Closest to the Pin" contest will be open to adults and kids for a chance to win some great prizes. To enter the contest adults will pay $2 per shot and the cost for kids 12 and under will be $1 per shot.

The Ranch which is located in Loveland, consists of the Budweiser Events Center, a 7,200 seat multi-purpose arena managed by Global Spectrum, the Ranch Way Feeds Indoor Arena, First National Bank Exhibition Halls, and Thomas M. McKee 4-H, Youth, and Community Building. The Ranch, which opened in September 2003, is owned by Larimer County.
